Aomori, one of Japan's snowiest regions, is where BUTAPANA has been crafting knitwear for over 30 years.

The warmth of our products comes from our deep understanding of the north's severe winters. 

From a land where life is in harmony with nature, we deliver creations made from 100% natural materials.

BUTAPANA's design philosophy is to achieve a perfect balance between "the garment and the person wearing it."

 We use over 300 different colors of yarn to create harmonious palettes, abstract motifs inspired by nature and culture, and unique knit fabrics imbued with our craftsmanship.

 This artistry awakens the wearer's sensibility, allowing them to spin their own story on the canvas of everyday life.

We don't chase trends; instead, we work with our wearers to create timeless and one-of-a-kind pieces that will be cherished for generations.
